Ms. Harris graduated from Winona State University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.S in Human Resources with a concentration in Communicational Studies. In past employment Mrs. Harris has worked directly with individuals whom fall on the Spectrum, ages of 2-15, and sees the importance of "Bridging the Gap" in opportunities through family and community with RISE for Autism's services and awareness events. With her business background, Mrs. Harris brings in the professionalism importance to see that RISE for Autism sets high standards and completions through office, event, social media, and all of the programs that take place within the operational standard and strives for excellence in the Resources, Interventions, Support, and Education we have to offer.
Shannon Majoros, M.S., C.A.S, BCBA, LBA
Mrs. Majoros received her B.S. in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary's University and her M.S. in Early Childhood Special Education from Johns Hopkins University. She also completed a graduate certificate in the Education of Students with Autism and Other Pervasive Developmental Disorders and a Post Masters Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis at Johns Hopkins University. She is a Maryland Certified Special Education Teacher and Licensed Behavior Analyst, a Certified Autism Specialist, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Mrs. Majoros has worked in a variety of roles since beginning her career working with individuals with autism and their families almost 20 years ago: in-home ABA therapist, Special Education Teacher, ABA Consultant, Director of Training, and Autism Specialist for a local school system. She served as the Vice President of RISE for Autism since its inception and stepped out of that role to take on the position of Director of Programming. Mrs. Majoros is one of the few Maryland providers who has completed the Social Thinking Clinical Training Program and she serves as adjunct faculty at Johns Hopkins University in the School of Education.
Mrs. Tayman became involved with RISE for Autism because of her interest in improving understanding and awareness of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders in our community. She has worked tirelessly to organize and implement awareness campaigns and events such as the "Puzzle Piece Campaign" and "Dress Down for a Cause". She also assists with a number of the RISE for Autism fundraising initiatives, the Safety Program, and family events. She is an enthusiastic and dedicated member of the RISE for Autism team!
